Interpreting Rates

Simultaneous conference interpreting requires special training that I have not received. I am able to provide informal, consecutive interpreting services. I have considerable experience of this kind of work in a public service context in the UK, and have worked in this capacity for various prestigious bodies such as the Home Office.

Interpreting on-site in Cyprus
The fee for interpreting assignments involving travel to any location in Cyprus is 1 euro per three minutes plus a fixed call out charge of 20 euros. The call out charge covers all travelling expenses to any part of the island. Availability to work in the north of the island depends on the current status of crossing points.
Interpreting on-site elsewhere
The fee for interpreting assigments that involve travel outside Cyprus is negotiable.
Telephone interpreting
The fee for telephone interpreting (or for similar work that does not involve travel) is 1 euro per three minutes.

VAT Pursuant to European Union Regulations I am required to apply VAT at the rate of 15% when invoicing clients from Cyprus, or from other European Union member states unless they themselves are registered for VAT. VAT does not apply in other cases.
The above schedule of charges does not in itself constitute a guarantee to undertake any particular assignment at any particular time. Prices stated are in euros: please inquire for quotes in other currencies.
These rates are for invoicing on 30-day payment terms to established commercial clients with a proven credit record. A TEN PERCENT DISCOUNT APPLIES TO IMMEDIATE CASH SETTLEMENT.
